Wasn't Vogart a company that produced embroidery transfers, such as those used on pillow cases, runners etc. ? Looks like they also produced whole quilts ready to be embroidered. I remember doing lots of those pillow cases etc.

Yes, Theresa, you're right. My mom used them when I was a kid. The information in Jen's link says Vogart was part of the Vogue company. Interesting!

Thank you so much! I had thought it might be from the early 60's but now I'm going to date it earlier. I'll get a photo once my phone recharges. It's partially 'painted' and embroidered and appears to be machine quilted.

I wonder if you emailed the author of Jen's link and gave her your info, if she could date it more accurately. Worth a try. There is an address at the bottom of the page and it is dated 2016, so obviously current.
