How much to install wall tile?

We are finishing up a remodel and the contractor is (rightfully) charging for extra tile work that was not in the original contract. How much per foot should I expect to pay to install wall tile and trim?

An approximate? $10-$15/sq. ft?

The amount will vary based on number of tile cuts, type of tile installation, and your area.

I am paying extra for the wainscoating around the bathroom, approx. 25 sq. ft. There are also quarter rounds on top of the deco tile.

Are those the tiles they are CONTINUING (as in adding to someone else's work)? Or is there something new going in? What is the full scope of the job? Which tiles? There looks to be a big cut on the L. side of the photo...what is it? What is it supposed to be? How is it being finished???

So many questions before we can reach a price per square foot.

Yes 10-15 is typical. It's counter intuitive but generally it costs more to tile walls than floors, especially when you add borders, cap mouldings, etc. Floors you have gravity on your side!

Same tile layer doing all of the work at the same time.

We contracted for 2 bathrooms totally remodeled, but only put tile going up the walls (42") on one of the bathrooms in the contract. When we saw it finished, we decided to do it for the other bathroom. The extra includes wall tile, deco tile and quarter rounds on top of the deco tile. I think you were referring to the big cut as part of the shower bench. He just didn't complete that at the time the photo was taken. Everything is complete now. Thank you.
