I don't know what reasonably priced means to you, but I am a big fan of Toto toilets. Their Drake model is about $220.00. We had 2 of them in our previous home for several years and they were trouble free. No clogs and they simply worked.

This is a good site with reviews for toilets..that is what we used to decide on a new toilet http://www.terrylove.com/crtoilet.htm

Oh crap! Sorry I couldn't resist.. I agree with disfromage about Toto Drake. I've replaced quite a few toilets over the yrs and I always replace them with the Drake ADA Compliant 1.6 GPF. They have several different Drakes with lower flush so I don't know how those compare. They also have some type of interior bowl protection on it that keeps the bowl cleaner in my experience.

We gutted and re-did the master bath at our island house this year, switching from a back flush to a down flush toilet. Went with a 1.8 gallon, comfort height, oblong (is that the word?) Toto, which cost about $200. Fantastic! We were worried it wouldn't work as well as our old 5-gallon American Standard. It works much better! Has cut our water use (we're on a cistern) and better for our septic. We're planning to get the same thing for our other bathroom.

Buy a Toto from a good plumbing supply, not a big box, and spare yourself a future issue. I like the Vespin. No goo collector visible trap on the sides, universal height, etc.
