My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What kind of wood and what stain is used for the flooring (the bulk of the floor, not the inlay)? The different woods work together great!

    luckyparrot , real Black Walnut flooring is arguable the most beautiful species coming out of North America. Satin and matte gloss levels are probably the most popular.

    Thanks for your responses. We are about to install new natural hickory cabinets very similar to the ones in this project, and have been torn on what to do with the flooring. This dark walnut looks like a great option!
