container guava pruning

last modified: 9 years ago

got this ruby supreme guava two years ago and it's grown well. I tried bending the branches last summer and had some new growths but no flowers.

itss currently in a 20 gallon planter (soil mix w very poor drainage) but roots are growing out the bottom. I've got a 25 gallon planter but wondering if it's worth it.

what kind of branch and root pruning should I do? what's the best time? is it even worth moving it into the 25 gallon planter?
