I would find a rug with the same design and color as those brown cushions you have. (And the coffee table). Navy blue wouldn't exactly fit. But you could do gray, but I think it would be too much gray in one place after that.

Are you interested in changing the throw pillows? I think navy blue would look great with the cream carpet and sofa but wouldn't go with the throw pillows.
