Skylight Placement in the kitchen

I have designed a new kitchen (cabinet order is placed so please don't advise on how to improve that :) ). I would like to add 2 or if necessary 3 skylights between the trusses. So they will be about 21x45". The distance between the countertops is 44". Here's a google sketch up with approx locations of the trusses. The ceiling is flat (not vaulted). Between which trusses would you recommend I have the skylights installed? And where left-right as in directly over the aisle or partially over a counter. I also added photos of the cabinet renderings. Please feel free to add links to websites to read about placing the skylights. Thank you

I'm also planning 3 pendants over the island and some 4" recessed cans but not sure how many or where to place so if you have advice on that too please share!

Here are two more rendering of the elevations for the kitchen. There is a nice symmetry on the oven wall that I want to be conscience of when placing the skylights and lights

You could make one large skylight over the openings. Just create a wood curb to mount the skylight on.
Or even individual skylights if you wish.

@HighEnd Solutions - but I don't want to alter the roof truss system. Could I achieve this while exposing the trusses and closing off the attic?? Please advise - also would you recommend I place them over the aisle only or over some of the countertop too?? There is not a lot of light in this section of the house so I do want to bring in more. The countertop will be a white or nearly white quartz and the floors a dark brown - I'm concerned the light bouncing off the quartz might be too bright

was there any luck with this? Im trying to place a skylight in my kitchen with the same issue. I dont want to mess with the lighting...

"Messing" with lighting is a whole lot easier than altering a truss.

yeah! i meant i dont want to put can lights in the well of the skylight. I accepted shadows. put some penents just outside of the well, over the island. its going to be great!
