Floor vent cover

Hi,
I've just finished flooring and the guys put the flush-mount wood cover as in the 1st pic.
But I'd love to replace it with a decorative metal cover and have difficulty finding one that fits.
The duct opening is standard 4x10 inch, but they've made a little 'recess' around the edge (the 2nd pic) and so, if I put a standard-sized metal cover (4x10 inside 5.5x11.5 outside), it sinks in (the 3rd pic).
Is there any vent cover that has 4x10 inside but much larger outside that it can hold up on the floor? Checked out many sites but no luck.
