Looking for first Bamboo

I live in zone 5, and am looking for my first bamboo plants. Am interested in anything. I am new to all this so please bear with me.

    Any bamboo should work for you. Just make sure you plant them in standard, vase- shaped pots. Decorative ceramic pots that curve in at the top are a no-no as it will be impossible to extract the plant when it becomes rootbound and needs to be unpotted to divide it.
