I think simple is classy and will always look stylish. For example the square field of tile over the range has already seen it's day except in very ornate kitchens, which yours is not. I would leave bold choices for furniture, wall colors, and window treatments, that can be changed more easily. 10 years from now you might regret a bolder choice, and should you ever sell your home the simpler styles will appeal to the greatest number of buyers.

I think any of these choices would look great. I think a bold backsplash adds interest and texture to an all white kitchen. I personally don't worry about what something looks like in a decade. So to that end be bold, close your eyes and point to a tile and stick to it

I have predisposition toward arabesque, so I like #5, especially w/ the boders betw. the bigger pieces. My least favorite is #4. Though truly unique, I believe it's too curvy & lines too tall for narrow backsplash area.

Lovely kitchen. With the straight lines of shaker style inset and the vertical lines of the handles I would chose one of the more rounded/curved designs.

I vote for 2 or 5 don't do different behind range, BEAUTIFUL kitchen!!

I agree with Clay. And I wouldn't do an added design above range as any of these tiles will do the job of being interesting enough.

One way that I choose things when there are multiple choices is to put 2 of them side by side (take away all the others) and then pick my favorite of the 2 and put the other way in the non winner pile. Then I take the favorite and put it next to another one and pick a favorite and so forth. It's easier to concentrate on just 2 at a time than a bunch of them at once. You can't go wrong on any of these though #4 I would want to see a bigger sample of it as the small sample doesn't appear to show everything that would go on with it. If you get it down to 2 that you are indecisive about you can always ask us again;)

I vote for #2. :) Nice and modern and should age well. Easy to dress up and down. Number 3, my next choice, is a bit too trendy. I also would not do a design over the range.

They are all pretty but 2 or 3 will probably be enjoyed for a long time without getting tired of the selection. Good luck!

Love the arabesque but #1 is elegant and simple.

1, 2, or 3...the rest are too fussy. At first I liked 2 the best but from farther away, 1 looks great with the dark spots of contrast. 3 is nice too but perhaps too "of the moment". You can get your zigzag fix elsewhere. So final vote is for number 1.

I like 2 or 5 with 5 being my favorite.

We have narrowed it down to 1, 2 and 5. Still a really hard choice, thank you for all of the input everyone! Will let you know what we decide.

Number one. :) From a distance it adds just enough pattern without being busy and has enough white ( blank ) space that ties in your cupboard color.

Gorgeous kitchen...1 or 5

I like the curvy ones to soften the slightly hard look of the kitchen. So definitely no to 2 and 3. Number 4 I can't quite picture how it will look so no comment on that, I'm not a huge fan of arabesque. Choice n. 1 is my favourite, seems to achieve the most balanced look.

Also I would not do a different pattern above the range! Do the same tile throughout. I'm loving 1&5

I like 2 for a safe choice or 3 for a little more pizazz. The others are too fussy. If you use 2, I would install it with the tall side of the tile vertical to add some visual height. Also, I would remove the side splashes and the 2" backsplash and install the tile down to the counter. Not sure if that is your plan, but you have such a wide area you need some height. Your kitchen is absolutely stunning. Those side splashes are bothering me so much that I want to reach into the picture and tear them off with my finger nails.

I like two as it will be something you will always love but I do tend to go with classic contemporary looks! My plan is to go with marble subway which I guess is very boring for some tastes! All would totally work but I think the chevron pattern might look dated after a while. LOVE your kitchen!!

When considering a water jet tile keep in mind the odd shape the tile comes in creates a lot of waste, at least 35%. It can greatly impact the total vs just calculating per SQFT.

Also if you pick a complicated water jet tile discuss exact placement options with tile person as again it can leave small odd shapes at terminations or obstacles.

In the end pic the first one you like and if your tile person agrees just go of it after all it is just a backsplash. They are all similar just different by pattern.

Normally I prefer a simple backsplash but your lucky that you have the perfect situation for something more. I like one or two myself. All the way up behind the hood too. Going to be really pretty!

Great choice, although they were all really great! I would suggest skipping the feature tile over the range though. That space looks a bit tight and your chosen tile is so interesting that it can go everywhere as is.
