Help with Paint Color & Finishing Touches

Hi,

We are doing a "refresh" of our kitchen: counters, sink/faucet/hardware, lighting, paint. Keeping existing appliances and flooring. I've attached photos of our kitchen "as is", and a collage of the new elements we've chosen: walnut countertop, glossy blue ceramic backsplash, and the existing floor for color comparison. I'm leaning towards a white sink with bronze faucet and hardware. (Although I'm open to suggestions.) My main dilemma is paint color for the cabinetry and walls. Can you Houzzers please suggest which paint you would go with? Specific color names would be especially helpful.

I'm wondering why the difference in look you're doing/ between natural flooring and glossy uniform [man-made?].... ? There's are expensive backsplash tiles that are or look hand made you might like...

New day, and another look makes me wonder if you kept a light counter, could the sky/robin's egg blue look better? [with less contrast then]... in other words, are you in love with that light a color?

You didn't mention wanting pattern, but if floor grout will stay grey-ish and dwasher is black, what about a neutral mix for backsplash? has different options.

Just having fun 'talking/ posting' with you.... this house is coastal. But white counter lends to more color elsewhere...

that your house has black appliances with white, adds an additional element to consider. They have a brass/ copper look.... why do you want as dark as ORBronze? how would that look with black appliances?

Hi, I haven't been logged in so I just saw your posts. Thank you so much for your suggestions! Our kitchen remodel is underway and we have chosen brushed brass hardware, still committed to the walnut countertop, totally rethinking the backsplash. The link you sent is beautiful!! The contractors removed our old fluorescent lighting and installed canned lights yesterday and it makes a HUGE difference!

Your floor and walnut seem plenty -- counter a blend with one/ lighter though. Wait, aren't your cabinets white... h.m...

You're not relying on me of course [who knows nothing about marble, much less buying it online].... but they've added more clearance tile.... is it actual walnut with grain yes, so why then a real veined marble? but a less so one, idk>

When you are ready to select the decorative hardware consider a matte gold....it looks beautiful with blue.

Do not select hardware until you have settled on all the other components.

That backsplash will be out of place with your wood countertop and warm flooring. Wait for the countertop to be installed and then try samples out in your kitchen.

I like the wall color in your dining area.
