Prefabbing the trusses over the summer

The Trusses in the living room before the house gets turned over

Built the trusses out of 4 sided hand hewn reclaimed barnwood beams. All scribed for perfect joinery. The trusses and ridges all assembled offsite then disassembled, brought onsite and installed. A process we have learned is much more effective than trying to fabricate these assemblies onsite.

Beautiful wood. Nice work. We really enjoy doing straps and hardware for these wonderful woods. The grains and hues are aways unique and the iron is an accent that compliments and not distracts. Walters Forge is a 100 year old timber frame structure. Its still looks good today.
