ottoman or coffee table?

We recently purchased a large Hancock and Moore leather sectional for our basement. It has a curved center piece and I am trying to find the right ottoman or coffee table to go with it. The leather in the sectional is a chesnut brown color so most of the brown leather ottomans won't match it, and I think a leather ottoman could probably be too much leather anyways... I have a large black square coffee table and a round black end table but don't plan to keep them. I also have an old rectangular shaped ottoman but don't think the shape is right either.

Any new ideas would certainly be appreciated. We plan to pull up the carpet and add hardwood floor as well as put a painted board and batten trim on the walls.

Round would be best, and because someone might want to put their feet up while the other one sprawls out, an ottoman would be great you can always place a tray on it for drinks.

a little pattern might be nice.

IMO, a square ottoman is the way to go, especially for movie watching. Everybody gets to put their feet up! It's also good for playing games on, too. :)

I'm with Beverly - round is the way to go (and not leather).

When I see a big heavy looking furniture, I think lighter end tables and coffee table for balance. I agree with the round shape but glass. Pottery Barn!
