A Good Weather Forecast Site

I have to keep an eye on my nighttime low temperatures during the winter so I can plan when and to what extent to cover my outdoor citrus. Certainly many of you may already use this site or a better one....share if you have a better resource!

I like this site because it gives a graph showing the predicted temperature. Just knowing the low temp isn't nearly as useful as knowing for how long it will remain below a certain temp. You can zoom in to a single day for more detail.

There is an android app also that I had been using for a while. Great App. There is an IOS version too. And for nerds like me it is hacker friendly too.

Glad y'all like the site. I'm keeping an eye on my weather now and battening down the hatches for a couple of cold nights. It's 38F out there now and is expected to steadily drop throughout the day and wind up down at 26F early in the morning and again early Sunday AM. My hands are scratchy now from fighting with wind-blown lemon branches from a ladder, trying to reach the last of the lemons. I also have lots of kumquats and a fair number of ripe calamondins I could pick if I have time this evening after finishing up covering trees and protecting outdoor plumbing. Looks like I'll be juicing fruit Saturday while it's too cold to be outside. Oh, I am ssoooo ready for spring and, February, our worst month of winter is still yet to go. We are actually supposed to have temps back up to the 60s Monday and Tuesday through Saturday are supposed to be in the 70s. I could plant sooo many different types of citrus here if it weren't for just a hand full of really cold nights each winter.

!6F yesterday morning then up to 25F and down to 8F this morning will go up to 20F and down to 5F tomorrow morning. Zinzinnati's citrus belt is going to take a pounding.

Very good info, John. This morning my living room temps on my window showed 13 C. I have heaters in the bedrooms. The heater in the living room goes on during the day. I think 13 C is ok for the trees but for people it is not comfortable. The outside temps are right now - 12 C, feels like - 22 C with the windchill. I hate cold temperatures!
