love the beautiful wood that you chose: floor and cabinets. What a great space to be,.....such an improvement....a whole new living space.

Beautiful! Such a great use of the available space. Love the window and window bench. All the finishes work so well together!

Amazing transformation! Love the warm color choices. Well done! Enjoy!

Lovely kitchen! It is amazing how much more spacious and bright the space is...and even better is that it functions well for you. Congrats!

OMG, a reading and sunning spot in the kitchen... NO WAY!

It looks great!

Mike, I remember your kitchen layout and it turned out really nice. I love the window seat, the narrow storage near the hall entrance, and I like how you wrapped the storage into the dining room. Lots of storage! Beautiful wood cabs and counter top too. Really opens the space up.

Amazing transformation! Well done.

Great finish choices. I really love the granite and light fixtures.

Even though it's open concept, it's still cozy and inviting.

Oh, I guess I should mention the finishes...

Floor - Triangulo Brazillian Chocolate Pecan
Counters - Mascarello granite
Backsplash - Imperial Bone glaze 3x6 subway tile
Sink - Composite granite, cafe brown
Faucet - Kohler Bellera in oil rubbed bronze
Cabinets - Diamond Distinction - Maple, cattail finish
Wall Color - Sherwin Williams Macadamia

I remember you, too. The kitchen is beautiful, and IIRC, this is very
similar to your original plan. I'm glad you settled on a window seat--I
have one almost exactly the same as yours, with the same style windows.
Great transformation!

Love that banquette in the window nook, perfect!

Amazing transformation. Congratulations.

Very nice! Congratulations!

Beautiful! Great layout, cabs, countertops. Nice warm place to work in.

I remember this too and it looks great. Love the warmth of the woods.

Bravo! It's gorgeous!

Very pretty and warm. Great job. Nice to see a kitchen reveal that's not all white and gray.

Beautiful!

This looks wonderful! Enjoy!

Very nice!

I love seeing before, during, and after photos all together. Thanks!

What a nice space. Looks like you get a fair amount of sun there, which is a bonus for any kitchen. Also love the window seat

Very nice. Congrats!

Excellent! You've created the feeling of a larger space by removing that wall. what a pleasure it must be to cook there!

Beautiful choices in your finishes! Love the window seat too!

Love the transformation. Your old cupboards and mine were the same style pretty much and your new ones and mine are also pretty much the same style. LOL

I bet the new kitchen feels wonderful. I love the finishes you selected.

No one mentions the monkey in the room?

Ha! Found the monkey. :)

I found the monkey too, but what happened to the toilet stool?

kidding, beautifully done, you must be very proud of it.

I didn't see a monkey..., I'll keep looking....mine has a parrot...:0)

If it's not in the kitchen, it doesn't exist to us kitchen obsessed GWers
