I can't find my design dilemma discussions

I have posted 3 design dilemma discussion in the past 3 months but can only locate one of them. They are not listed under my profile ...discussions. Any ideas how to find them? I don't remember how I titled them.

Hi there, I see three questions on photos posted from your account. If you click on your profile and then click on the discussions tab you should see them there. Hope that helps!

    Thank you of course!

I have same problem -- cannot find the Design Dilemma I just posted. When you say "click on your profile" above, do you mean "Edit Profile?" If I do that, there is no "Discussions" tab. If I click "Advice" I see the main Design Dilemma page but don't know how to find my own post.

If you click on your name or photo in this discussion, you will view your profile, look for a tab that says "Posts" there and you should see everything you have posted, including any recent design dilemmas.

I know this is an old post, but I'm having the same problem. The "Discussions" option is completely gone from my profile now & I can't seem to find my old discussions that had a LOT of information and great suggestions from people.

Ok try this. I don't houzz very often..so I went to the home page. On that page click on the room you want to see or talk about...like the kitchen.

Then choose a style like traditional

Then in the upper left corner of the site, click on the menu?the spot with 4 little black horizontal lines.

Then click "activity" and you should see different actions you can take, postings etc.hopefully this will work for you.

    good luck.

Sorry for bumping old question but I’m having the same problem ...

I’ve posted a a discussion and it shows up under my activity tab but not my post tab and it’s not showing up on the actual discussion board so how are people going to see it??

Tanya I'm not helpful. Did you try what's written above? I just end up trying every possible click to get where I want to go. So sorry. Best of luck!

Again bumping this old thread as I'm having a similar problem. I posted in the KITCHEN forum more than 2 hours ago. It still hasn't shown up (I can see it in my activity but NOT in the Kitchen forum -- same problem as Tanya above). I thought maybe it was a problem with my browser (Firefox), so I went to Chrome instead. I actually googled most of the words in my post's title, and it was the first "hit" in the google results (the post is supposed to be here: [https://www.houzz.com/discussions/help-with-kitchen-please-lots-of-constraints-with-floor-plan-dsvw-vd~5273075[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/help-with-kitchen-please-lots-of-constraints-with-floor-plan-dsvw-vd~5273075) . BUT when I clicked on the link from google, it takes me to a houzz page that says "Thepage you requested was not found."

Anyone have any idea what is going on? That was my first post here. I can't understand how something so simple -- starting a new thread and posting -- can go wrong (and I'm a regular member of a different forum, where I've never had this issue!).

Hi there, I am seeing your post in the correct forum. It is likely that it was temporarily caught in our filter, but you should see it now!

Thank you! But I am bummed that it's now been up for 3 days but no one has replied. :(

I'm having the same problem as Karen. I posted a discussion over two hours ago. It shows up in my profile page but not on the boards (design dilemma and bathrooms).

I am having the same problem - I cannot see my post that I put up yesterday. It appears in my profile, but I can't see it anywhere else, nor does a general search using the exact title yield any results. Do these posts need to be "approved" before they actually go on the board?

Occasionally a post will be temporarily caught in our filtering system before it can be reviewed and then posted. If you are still not seeing it posted, shoot us a quick message through help.houzz.com and we can investigate! Thanks!

My discussion is also not showing up, I tried another, and that too does not show.

Is there anyway to fix this? I cannot find how to send a message through help.houzz.com

    Thanks

I don’t think my posts are showing up. I posted one yesterday in exteriors and design dilemmas looking for ideas for the outside of my brick ranch house, but I can’t see it on the boards and it got 0 comments so I don’t think it worked. Any ideas? I am posting on and iPhone using the app.

Hi Rebecca, It may be that your initial post was held in the filter temporarily, but it looks like it is visible now. I just commented on it, so it should be back to the top of the topic and should get more attention. Hope that helps!

Hi Emily, Yesterday (5/10/19) I posted my design dilemma "How to arrange artwork on this blank wall". While editing the original post, I deleted the post along with 4 comments, by mistake. So I posted a new one, this time with the 4 pictures. Now I can see both the old one and the new one. [How can I keep the new one[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/how-to-arrange-artwork-on-this-blank-wall-dsvw-vd~5693599?n=3)? (and delete the [old one[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/how-to-arrange-artwork-on-this-blank-wall-dsvw-vd~5693359?n=7)?)

Just add a comment to your posting and that will bring it back to the top. It's still active, just way down the listing because there's no recent comment.

jmm1837 Thank you for your advice; I posted on the new one and it is there ;)

However the old one (supposedly deleted one) is there too... and is actually getting some comments based on the single photo!

Emily H Could you please help out, deleting the old/ original post (5693359)? I have noted the commentators and acknowledge them in my new/ corrected post (5693599) Thank you.

NOTE: I am not sure this "Using Houzz thread" gets checked by topic (as in FAQ answered by Houzz team/Emily H) OR if one needs to open a new question (even if the same issue has been discussed).

Hi Emily, How can I edit my poll title? https://www.houzz.com/discussions/5893846/help-with-sliding-door-coverings-b-w-brown-other "Help with sliding door coverings: B&W, Brown, Other?"

I want to replace it with: "Window/Door coverings: B&W, Brown, Other?". Maybe it would be easier to find, and more people will read and vote? Thank you!

@Haoyu Chen @Emily H thanks for your reply. It seems that your system does not allow editing after 24hr. This is the message I get when clicking "edit": The page you requested was not found." That is why I am requesting the "Houzz team" for help editing the title to: "Window/Door coverings: B&W, Brown, Other?"

@lobo_93 Ah, thanks for clarification. Yep, if that's the case, you do need to submit a sepcific request -- https://help.houzz.com/s/contactsupport?language=en_US.

Hi, @Marlborough hill, sorry for replying late. Thanks for reporting this issue. The URL you posted should be valid. I will forward it to the team and try to have a fix for it. Thanks!

I tried posting in discussions last night and the post never showed up in the forum. Checked for it again this morning, but still nothing. @Haoyu Chen can you help? I reposted this morning, but it's still not showing up.
