i like your front door as is. why do want to paint it? if color in the front of the house is what you really want? then maybe some new plantings would be the ticket.

I agree that teal would be awesome! When a door is recessed like this a bright color makes it stand out!

Thanks for all the great responses. My yard is all shade and I do have white impatience, unfortunately the angle doesn't show it. I normally fluff the front entry with the white or pink caladiums, our nursery didn't have great ones this year. I have always liked the door just thought it was really dark. I am going ton replace the light with something bigger and stainless. And then add new stainless house numbers. Thank you again.
