Without a doubt as it acts as an accent wall. You could always do shades of grey as well to add a light punch of colour.

We were able to find out that the client purchased the tiles in Sudbury Ontario at North-Tech Stone and Ceramic. Perhaps bring the pic with you when shopping.

I would be using this backsplash in my entire kitchen with giallo ornamental granite. Do you think it would be too dark for that purpose? Your picture did help me decide on a 2 x 8-1/2 tile instead of a 3 x 6. I think that would give the backsplash more character if the off-white tile is chosen (out of fear.lol) Thank you for your generous expertise. If you have anything else to share i would appreciate your thoughts

Great choice of granite colour, will look beautiful with white cabinets!

When it comes to backsplash selection... it really boils down to preference and comfort. The white will provide a greater range to add various accent colours than the black but a black background will make the black in the granite really pop, especially if your handle selection is tame (like a brush nickel etc.)
