Thanks for your feedback, chiflipper. I'm afraid I'm going for a glossy look-not too much gloss, I mean not fully polished. As with using a bigger tile, I 'm aware of the issues behind opting for a larger tile rather than a small one. Thanks for your feedback.

I love the gloss look to a floor in a contemporary setting as for size I prefer rectangular to square and I think #2 is a good choice since it has a bit of a cream color to allow for some warmer colrs to be used if you want

Thanks a lot for your comment. I m also more inclined for a glossy tile as I believe it adds elegance to a place and tile #2 has a marble effect in it so I think it s a very good option. I ve decided that I m going for the 60 by 60cm tile rather than to the 120 by 60 because from feedback I had it s a safer option.Any other feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Options 1 and 2 are very similar. I think I'd go with Option 3 with the subtler pattern because it won't look so busy on your floor. When you're looking at a tile or two its hard to visualize how busy its going to look with a whole floor and the veins going in different directs.

I don’t usually have big problems with 60 x 120 tiles as long as the tile setter has used them before and knows that can’t be laid in a 50% stagger I just like the looks a lot better but I think with marble tile either one works. I actually have 60 x 120 laminate that is from Germany that looks like cararra marble and very high gloss I love it

Hi Suzy & Patricia again. Thanks for your input about my concerns. Being a space which is not so big, I think I m going for the smaller tile option, being a 60 by 6ocm. I know it s prettier to have large tiles, but apart from the extra costs involved, I believe it would be a bit risky maybe to use the larger tiles in my case. Especially because this mainly depends on the tile layer abilities which I dont have control over.
