Hi Justin, It's a very nice room. Is this your primary room to watch TV? If so, have you considered moving the sofa across from the TV, so that it faces the TV?

Then move your 2 chairs and put them on each side of your fireplace, facing the sofa and angled inward slightly.

It is the primary room for watching TV. I thought about that idea but I don't like the back of the couch facing the morning room and kitchen. I might try it and see how it looks though :)

The carpet is too small so I suggest a larger carpet and add color in the carpet. The room is screaming for some color.

Thank Joni! yea the carpet was from the house before with a smaller living room and I love it lol but will most likely get something else. I doing softer colors but what a process. The dining room furniture came today the study is coming soon. SO many decisions but fun ones.

I would move the two chairs to in front of the window, across from the couch. You would still be able to see the tv and have a nice conversation area.

I would suggest replacing your coffee table with ottomans - can use for table and extra seating. Agree with the new placement of the sofa and chairs, and new rug with color. If you're unable to get the appropriate size from a store check with your local flooring store as they can order the carpeting you love as a rug...a program called "cut-a-rug".

I'm not sold on moving the sofa. Generally only two people sit on a sofa so it would limit how many people could watch tv. I do like the idea of moving the other chair in the room across from the sofa. That might even make your rug look large enough. Love the suggestion of an ottoman.
