Can you post photos of the room with the furniture as we want to make sure we are offering suggestions that go with the style of your furniture and better to tell if you need curtains, something else or nothing.

Beautiful windows! I would be inclined to have long linen curtains to accentuate the height and allow for some light to stream through. Light neutral colours may add some brightness to the room. I would also add a large area rug with some of the colour from the curtains to pull it together.

It appears that there isn't much wall space on the ends next to the windows or even in between. If so, just remember that to get the fullness to cover the windows when closed, you will be having to cover up some of the windows when the curtains are open. I would also have a concern of putting a curtain between the fireplace and that window near it. I think a good portion of your windows are going to disappear which is ok if that is what you want to accomplish.

I wouldn't add drapes. I like the clean lines of the windows without anything blocking the light. You can pull your furniture into the room away from the walls. I would put your budget toward lighting and artwork instead.
