We are about to start building. In our plans we included a fireplace in the master bedroom (approx. 15' x 17'). In other threads people mentioned not being able to place furniture easily because of the fireplace. This is not a concern in this design as we have enough closet space and don't want much furniture in the bedroom.

We're in the South so for the majority of the year we are cooling and not heating. We just like the idea of the fireplace in the bedroom as more of a relaxing nice feature.

What should be think about before we do this?
