I have Perlick. Mine are stainless interiors, not black. Not sure when they made that change or if it is an option -- or what else they may have changed, but they started as a commercial supplier and you will find their products in restaurant, stadiums and behind bars where there is heavy use - a lot of opening and closing. They are built to take that keep up with heavy use, and since we were putting ours in our breakfast room and near the door to the yard and pool for beverage and snack service all day long (to reduce traffic across the kitchen), we wanted something that could take regular heavy use. I think they are the best made. Subzero is probably second, but I also had a configuration/size issue with them.

Thanks lascatx! Perlick makes 2 lines. Their more expensive Signature line is stainless steel inside, but their cheaper C-line is black inside. I think they have different compressors. Are yours paneled? If so, would you post a photo?

My Perlicks are paneled, but not drawer type. The panels look like the other cabinet doors when closed.

Perlick are known to be the quietest, but I don't know about the secondary line. My Marvel's are a few model changes ago so not comparable to the current offerings. The feature that used to set them apart was a bottom drawer deep enough for standing bottles. It's louder than Perlick or SubZero, and the temperature range could be tighter, but again, not the current models. The stainless interior is awesome for its ease of cleaning.

I had a photo of the panels but lost the backup on my phone when it crashed during an update over a yearr ago -- and the laptop it was probably on had to be reset. I MAY have a copy on a backup drive, but I will have to dig it out. They are the center of a hutch with 15 inch drawers on either side. Really just look like cabinet drawers. A panel on a fridge drawer doesn't look any different that a panel on a cabinet drawer, even the pulls are the sasme as you put on your other drawers -- but your toe space may look different because of the vent and that may look different on the model you will buy.
