I think a nice wood tone roman shade in a weave would be excellent. Could even put some black banding on them. That would provide some "warmth" if needed. I am not so sure about the "warmth" factor. I like the cool, vibe that is going on. So in that case, go with white reed roman shades. Keep it cool. Just a neat light fixture and great. For a sideboard, I would make sure you have enough room? You need 24" from edge of table to accommodate chair push back. Especially with the base of those chairs. I simple sofa table might work well. Just depends on what is needed in terms of storage and space.

Thanks Flo the room is 14x12 Id have to measure that wall when i get to my sons apt.He will be having the living room furniture delivered in about a month,the apt is small the kitchen is just about done,Im going to post some pics tomorrow so we can get the dining room on same page as the rest of the space in the place.Ill be back!!
