Tearing down a wall in the kitchen.how to get the light switch changed from the discarded wall to another wall.

    The wires leading to the abandoned switch will need to be retraced back to where they connect to the light and then either reusing the existing wire if long enough and in safe condition or connecting a new wire and rerunning to new switch location. You really should have an electrician look at this...
