I have not.....I just plant 'em. 95% success rate.

Some growers I've talked to let the cuts dry for a day or so before potting up, letting the air cure the cut. Others use cinnamon or garden sulfur to coat the wound and keep pathogens from attacking the tuber. I have tried air-curing, dipping cut end in cinnamon and planting right away AND just sticking it in potting soil directly from being cut from a clump... all work equally well for me, but I try to allow cure-time when I can.
