If you mean matching accent chairs? I like matcing accent chairs in some situations. I agree with you getting chairs in a transitional style. An area rug, a couple accent chairs and toss pillows for the sofa will change the whole look. We really need to see the entire space and your dining set. The chair backs may need to be higher, or lower, depening on the other furniture and space size.

I would suggest the "Allison" chair by Broyhill. It has a contemporary shape but has nailheads along the arms which is a nod toward traditional. Broyhill has a hundred or so fabrics to choose from. I would suggest a tapestry. It blends well with leather. Most solid fabrics with leather tend to look very mismatched. (I've sold Broyhill for 15 years and partial but there are many other great brands). Good luck!

I was thinking nailheads as well Marcy and good point about solids with leather. A fabric pattern would be best.

Here is the area rug, my accent wall is "Canoe" Lowes Signature Paint and the other walls are done in Caramel by the same company I am sorry this is in pieces but am in the midst of change. Thanks for the suggestions I will look for transitional style chairs with the nailheads.

The walls Caramel are like the color of the mid beige in the light beige curves and the Canoe is the darker brown

Hi..since the rug has alot of pattern, how about taking the blue from the rug and get a velvet like fabric accent chairs, with the nailhead detail?
