99% of sinks, toilets and tubs are white. Don't worry about matching your tile to them. I like what you've chosen.

You might even want to keep the same smaller ivory subway tiles throughout the rest of the bath.

What are you doing for the shower floor?

One other tip if you're planning on adding lighting go for sconces by the mirrors instead of over-the-mirror fixtures.

it's a traditional way of having the same color for basin counter top and back splash, but i like what you've chosen, the ivory one, nice and fresh, why not?

leelee - thank you for the confirmation. I just saw this same granite used by a local designer and it was paired with an "ivoryish" tile and it looked beautiful. I'd debated on carrying the "stacked" tile through to the tub area and doing 12x24's in the shower with an accent band of the stack just to add a little interest. Would you suggest doing the stacked tile all throughout the shower as well? I was just worried about so many grout lines in the shower.

The shower pan is the Kohler Purist cast iron shower pan in white. I know it won't be as beautiful as tile but, again, I was worried about all the grout lines in a tiled pan.

Leelee - I wished I would've thought to do the sconces on the side of the mirror. Maybe I'll get brave and ask hubby to change them :)

paulajayewitte - Unfortunately this tile didn't work out. I actually purchased it and halfway up the shower wall it had a pinkish hue. So poor tile guys...down it came. We ended up choosing AZ Tile Metalwood in color Platino and we love it.
