AHHHHH!!!! THANK YOU! This was a feat for us, not only conceptually but actually mechanically getting it to function as seamlessly as it does! The cabinet doors are operable in the front and there is storage available inside but the concept here was to allow the main kitchen to be a clean and clutter free so we essentially created a 'walk-in appliance garage" that houses a full prep-side to this kitchen, including an extra dishwasher, sink, built-in coffee maker, refrigerator drawers and a microwave drawer. The 'hidden' door into this fabulous space allows for the hinge to be in the door jamb and virtually undetectable when closed. The clients' were needless to say very tickled with the end result of this! Thanks for your inquiry and I hope that helped answer your question.

I am including the link to the hinge manufacturer; they are definitely the best of the best and if you are attempting to do something like this, a stellar choice.

Hi...This is a custom door that was made by our cabinet fabricator to coordinate with the cabinet face and then a tectus hinge was used which basically allows for the hinge to be in the door jamb and hence 'invisible'. I am including the link so you may see who makes the hinge

Hope that helps...it really is a great feature in this kitchen!
