Reface or buy replacement cabinets?

We like the footprint of our kitchen. There a a couple of changes that we want to make but nothing major. The present cabinets are well made but we want to change to flat mount doors, have them painted a white or cream and change the hardware. Generally, how much more would it be to replace them all?

If the cabinets are in good condition and the layout works and you are keeping the counter tops then refacing would be your best bet. If you are looking to have new counter tops then it might be just as equal to get new cabinets put in. Painted cabinets tend to be a bit more expensive then a stain cabinet.
