Stuck on the Den

I'm stuck on how to pull my den together. The room is fairly large (that's a 9x12 rug on the floor) and a bit awkward. There are pocket doors leading to the kitchen, double doors leading to the deck, and an entry leading to the garage. Also, my home office is setup in the corner at the moment, but I'm considering moving it to my breakfast room. If I do, I'll have an empty corner.

I'm not quite sure what color is below the chair rail, but that's Sherwin Williams "Agreeable Grey" above it. I actually like the colors; navy blue and a bright green are my household colors.

Any help/ideas welcome.

I think you need to view this space as being for TV viewing. Your sectional (?) is too far from the TV. Move it closer and perhaps turn it so the longest part faces the TV. Use a chair to square off against the short side of the sectional. The TV is centered on a large wall with outlets and cables clearly visible. Paint those outlets to match the wall! You could either put art or book/display cases on either side of the TV, or you could do one of each. That may sound off, but as long as the visual weight is even it won't feel unbalanced.

After moving the couch closer to the TV you might have room for your office behind the couch. Whether or not you move your office space, you can hide it with a folding screen. While local stores likely have only standard fare, there are online stores with a wide array of styles. HERE is one, and here is ANOTHER and here's a THIRD .
