Good suggestions, but we are in zone 10a, but some areas are next to a wall so there is just half day or less direct sunlight.

Hi Gizella - in zone 10 your snapdragons shouldn't be dying now, you might want to figure out what happened to them. I'm in zone 8 and my snapdragons that are by the house are perennial (or did you mean they're not in flower and you simply want to replace them?).
