Moisture or water damage

Had engineered hardwood floors installed (glued down) July 2012 on slab in a 20 yr old townhouse. 2014 floors bedrooms floors turned moldy. Had the floors taken up, could not find any water, new floors were installed after redgard water barrier painted on slab. Move to Dec 2016 bedroom floors turning black and now living room and dining room turning black also. Called an engineering company and they want $600 to come out and see if they can find the moisture problem. In the meantime, floors I had installed in 2012 in the upper level are just fine, not on concrete. Am I going to be wasting $600 and what floors can I have installed to avoid the moisture. Baseboards and walls do not have a moisture problem. From a small inexpensive hyrometer humidity levels are fine.
