Backyard garden raised bed help needed

Hi! About 12 years ago I put in the circular raised beds in my backyard. Unfortunately I put down gravel without first putting down plastic and every summer I battle weeds growing throughout the pathways. In addition I have never been able to really plant a vegetable garden because of my free roaming pet chickens. Right now the two closest beds have daylillies in them and the center circle has a crab apple tree. Just beyond the raised beds is a privet hedge, a cluster of lilac bushes, and a couple of hyperiums. Closer to the gypsy wagon chicken coop is a river birch that shades the back

wo raised beds. In front of the chicken coop is a crepe myrtle, and some more hyperiums. The viberium hedge is to the right of the chicken coop. My question is what should I do with the raised beds? Should I keep them or rip them out? If I keep them what should I plant in them?

I'm sorry for the poor photo quality ...they were taken on my phone from an upstairs window. In addition there are some crepe mrytles that have self seeded themselves in the front two raised beds. I will be transplanting them soon. The black mark is where I burned leaves...
