NEED HELP PICKING TILE FOR KITCHEN

Hello I am in the process of designing my kitchen I have attached a photo of the shape and style my kitchen will be with the exception of the island being an espresso color and my counter tops are a veiny grey which I will also attach an imagine of. I wanted to do wood flooring but it is currently not an option for me so I NEED HELP PICKING TILE that doesn't overpower my kitchen I am tryingto stay away from something to light.
