I agree roman shades would be a good solution. Due to the width there will be seams in the fabric so be mindful of that when choosing fabric, prints etc need to be matched properly.

Ha just for fun I tried to design a 100" wide roman shade at Smith & Noble: $1000! (That was fabric; in woven it's *only $570...)

Sorry, but roman shades will visually lower your ceiling height. I would still go with drapery panels. Do you want them to draw or are these just for decor? If you need them for privacy, the best priced custom sized draperies will probably be found at JC Penny.

Thanks, @BeverlyFLADeziner. These would be to draw, and with the sofa up against the window I'm not sure how it would work without looking messy! The room is so small I don't want to waste inches by pulling the sofa away from the window.

I don't think your concerns are well founded First your sofa should be away from the windows, so matter how small the room. If you find your sofa moves, then place rubber beneath the feet so there is no movement.

Is that your private drive or a highway out front? I'd rather see outside if there is no neighbor across the road, and it isn't a high volume road. What about top down bottom up cellular shades to give privacy when you want, control the light/fading issues and open all or part of the view when desired? You can do individual shades for each window, or one large one all the way across. Adding floor to ceiling panels at each end that match your wall color will visually enlarge the room.
