I went through this same thing a few years ago. I did end up buying the Cb2 outdoor tables with matching benches but could not find independent reviews on their chairs. Didn't want to risk it.

In the end I decided on some simple Woodard residential/commercial stacking chairs. I got the splash of color I wanted through an outdoor rug. I had to do a lot of online searches to find the best price but I'm happy. There were two chairs that didn't fair well in the shipping but the company worked with me.

Woodard does have something like 9 color finishes but I don't think they have that blue in the cb2 chair. I wanted my Aura stacking chair to sort of disappear so just bought them in dark brown/black. I've had them a couple of years now and they are still like new. No rust.

Throwing in a recommendation for these patio chairs from Pier 1

I have them in green in a screen porch and they are comfy and holding up well.

Well, the description says store indoors or keep covered during winter months.

I have outdoor furniture from target, walmart and lowes, and all of it has held up well. It all has metal frames and some sort of poly/plastic/resin on seats and back. None of the metal is polished, mostly powdercoated. All furniture is on decks (except the wrought iron chair). I don't cover it or bring it indoors during winter or wet weather, even though that was recommended for the target furniture. Snow has built up on it many times. I live in a dry climate, no salt air. The only problem is the sling chair fabric from walmart deteriorated in the heat/direct sun over time and lost strength and eventually the seats tore. (I replaced with same since the 3 piece bistro set was only $100 with coupon.) The resin wicker from target has held up beautifully.

That being said, I would take a chance on those chairs if I loved them. I would be most concerned about the polished anodized aluminum, but I would be more confident about the resin. Unless you live in a salty climate where metal corrodes easily.

Maybe you can wait for a discount coupon? Are you signed up for their emails? (Sometimes they run out of inventory though if you wait too long.)

Thank for the suggestions and help! We live in a semi-arid climate, no salt air. The chairs will get no sun at all. And if they stack they can be stored under cover (though not inside) easily.
