How can I make curtain panels work for this window?

This bay window in our kitchen/dining area is our only natural light source. I would like to put panels of some kind up, to add some warmth and coziness to our area.

The problem is this bay is assymetrical.......as you can hopefully see in the photos, there is more wall space to one side of the window than the other.

I'm not married to a rod, per se......I guess I'm imagining a really creative solution to my dilemma, as I've already had one consultation here at my house with a drapery professional, and she had no ideas for me.......

It looks like the shutters were not made correctly. There's no reason (that I can see) for the two sides not to be the same. How can you not cut a single window into two equal parts? Is there something I'm missing?

See the small windows at the top? The shutters should cut them in half not be skewed off to one side.

Looks like they were measured and installed wrong.

Sorry, but I don't see the problem. You make the rods and panels the same size and mount them. So what if drywall is exposed on the right and not on the left.

Rods can be purchased with flexible corners connectors.

Thank you for that great photo with the curtain panel on the window......I am such a Luddite with technology. Didn't know you could even do such a thing.....

I appreciate all of your thoughts.......I don't notice the shutter problem.....perhaps it was the angle of my photos that made the shutters look off. When I look at them straight on, they seem fine.
