There are scammers that troll Zillow (and other websites) for beautiful photos. They represent themselves as the owner, but they are not. They scrape the photos from some other location and post as the owner with the scammers "name" and contact number. Why? To get you to contact them for a 'too good to be true' home. This is done for rentals and sales. When I run across this type of posting I report it to Zillow. They are very responsive in getting it taken down after an investigation. I do this for homes in the areas I know and I check the public records before reporting. I do this because someone may fall for it and actually send the scammer money. And if they do - the money is gone.

It is fairly easy to spot these bogus posts as they are always beautiful homes for next to nothing. If everyone reported the posts that may help to get rid of the scammers - eventually.

Someone must have reported it and Zillow investigated and took it off market. That is what happens when the scammer is caught :)
