I would add some color! I noticed the flat file comes in a green finish so you might start there. Then add a large art piece or graphic wallcovering that would include the green and then other colors that could be used in the rug and window treatment. Possibly do a fabric roman shade or a woven one. Add light above bed for night time reading. Add a mirror above flat file to reflect light and for guest use. May want to change out the ceiling fan for a large drum shade fixture. If you lean more toward neutral, then just do all the furniture light or white but definitely no dark finishes.

Thanks Nancy! This is so cool! How did you make this? I guess I didn't mention in my post that I already own the brown one. I like the wood because it's timeless. Will that look weird with the white IKEA bed? I wouldn't mind painting the IKEA bed when/if we get it, since it's already white. I also didn't mention we will be having our floors and molding redone in the next month or so. The last two contenders are attached.
