I'm doing white perimeter cabinets and a dark gray island and using same color Quartz Cambria Britanica! I had a designer help me. We are building a custom house and this is what she recommended. She also said we could do a black leathered granite on perimeter and the Britanica on island too but we chose to use the same. Either one works!

I think the separate colors can add a defining element to certain spaces. Here's an example where we went with a few different complimenting colors in the same space. Thanks!
