Area Behind Retaining Wall

last modified: 9 years ago

I had a design plan completed and retaining wall construction began. Long story short, the design changed multiple times due to unavailable material and slope calculation errors. Designer / Landscaper is no longer involved so I'm back to square one.

After wall and area above are completed I need to work on the barren area to the right. Looking for ideas with these considerations.

- Minimize dirt and mud tracked into homes by the kids.

- Kids use this area to play.

- It's heavily shaded during summer as post oaks line creek behind fence.

- Water enters but will be minimized as dry creek beds will be installed to contain water along edge of property (sides) and channel past the property line to the creek.

- Fall fills area with leaves from post oaks. I usually just open fence and blow leaves out to post oak canopy.

Any basic ideas would be helpful. We are kicking around multiple options but wanted to see if memebers have ideas that we missed.

I added additional photos to get overall picture.

Thank You for your time.
