I do not see any rots either. If that's the case, you need to root it again - after cutting off anything soft, rotting.

Same for other plants - if you are concerned, check if there are any roots.

By 'cracks', I think you are referring to the dark horizontal slits, which are actually scars from previous leaves.

You know squishy leaves are not a good sign.

No worries :) I cut the bottom off this plant a couple months ago and they've had trouble growing back since. They grow and then disappear
