This is a loose rendering of the home we are building. We are planning to only use one exterior siding color (Sherwin Williams Anonymous Grey) with a warm cream trim (TBD), mahogany stained garage doors, timber framing and front door, and El Dorado Teton Shadow Ridge rock (more grey than the rock pictured). We also intend to do shake on the entire covered front porch area.

My question is this - would you do staggered shake or straight shake for those shake sections? My husband and I are stumped and in desperate need of outside input! Please, tell us what you think! And thank you in advance! :)
