Hi! I googled both products to see pictures and the difference. I would choose the Viatera Everest quartz. Quartz is by far more popular than granite right now, so for resale purposes, this would be a better choice. Also, if this is for a lake house, the quartz has more of a fossil look to it and may read more like shells...organic and nature. Your floor is very simple, and on the contemporary side, like your cabinetry, so the quartz will coordinate and compliment these clean lines. It would not be a wrong choice to go with the New Azul Aran granite, as it would be busier and add contrast, but not knowing what your are doing for a back splash, it might compete or end up being the focal point in the kitchen.
