Hi. A couple years ago I sanded down some kitchen chairs to bare wood, then primed with an oil based spray primer and then brushed black oil based rustoleum (gloss) onto them. I let them cure for the right amount of time and then they started chipping within a few weeks or months and have only gotten worse. Now I really need to repaint them - any recommendations?

Seriously, the rustoleum didn't do nearly as well as the Cabinet Coat waterborne enamel on my kitchen cabinets, which hasn't chipped at all in 6 years. Does anyone know of an oil based paint that's a really great quality I can use over my chairs?
