New house with need for change in living room. How do I fit this together, change? modify?

My husband has some antique book shelves that are dark wood. I love these and
was thinking of placing them in the living room. If I put the book shelves
in the living room then I would purchase a new dark wood dining room table –
and then find a new place for the hutch or sell it..

I have a special quilt that I have used as art. This
quilt and with the antique book shelves can create a theme of some sort.

I will be purchasing a new sofa and chairs for the living room

Please advise on warm and vibrant color schemes.
