Living Room Wall Ideas

Hello,

I am looking ideas on what to do with the large wall in my living room where my TV is currently against. I am thinking that I will remove the painting since it does not match with the rest of my living room. I'm not too sure if I need additional furniture pieces, wall shelves, artwork, or any other options that you guys can think of. All comments will be greatly appreciated! Pictures are below.

    Hi Ryan. I gave a couple of ideas for you that I think might work well in your room. First I agree with removing the art, and the art over sofa could be lowered. Have the bottom of art about 6-8" above back of sofa. For the livingroom side I think you could use a longer media console. Then on dining side I would put a large piece of portrait orientated art. It would be awesome if it's directly lines up opposite dr table but considering the switches etc that may not be possible. The decor on the console is too tiny. I would suggest one large piece, it could be anchored with plants on either side but the ones you have are too small. You could also add some pillows/throw to sofa. Here are a couple of simple mock ups.
