My cabinets go to ceiling. The trim on them which is fairly wide, is the color of the cabinets, and the trim at the ceiling in the rest of the room is white. My cabinets are off-white, and I cannot imagine white trim at the ceiling where they meet it. It would "cut off the top" of the cabinets. The two colors of trim are not even noticeable. Thank you Donna! I feel the same way about the white going over the top of the cabinets. I'm just concerned it will be too much contrast with the gray cabinets.

Thank you Donna and Bev -I am in the process of redoing my kitchen and have the same issue. The picture is great and incidentally the same color as my cabinets.
