BM Grandma's China is almost SW Incredible White. It occurs to me that if finding a greige is this difficult then greige is not for you. In the end you are just painting the wall white.

Incredible White is more cool than warm. check it out on the strip. Agreeable Gray is lighter but it is definitely cool as well. So, if you want warm, then you have to go to warmer side of palette. It would help to know what else we are working with here. Can you take pictures of more of the space from as far back as you can? Doing color on monitors is also very inaccurate.

i have agreeable gray throughout my main area of the house and it's not the most sunlit house and it is still not dark.

I'm having this same issue. Love agreeable gray but it's just a touch dark. I've tried cutting the formula 25% or 50% but it tends to lose its warmth. Also, I've been seeing more and more advice against cutting formulas so I'd like to not do that. Would love to know what you decided and how you like it, @ajsumpter.

BM Wind's Breath is nice. We have it in our entryway and mudroom and it's warm but grayish.

Old post but Just to add I didn’t like balboa mist it reminded me of the colour of drywall prior to paint.

My entire house is done in agreeable grey and I love it! I don’t feel it is too dark at all - we are in the greater Seattle area where sun isn’t exactly abundant :)

I love Agreeable Gray, but darn if it doesn't look blue on my walls! This is a south east facing bedroom, low light. I read it would flash more beige, with no real blue undertones. I can't for the life of me figure out why everything I paint in this room turns blue! Any suggestions would be really appreciated. The carpet will be gone, replaced with a warm reddish brown wood floor, and this area rug under the bed.

It's because you have the yellow there. If you prime first you won't have that problem. I had the same issue.

I have yellow now and am considering agreeable grey. Do I need to ask the painters to prime first? @Emily L

I find Agreeable Gray goes too beige if you want a grey and yes it has a lot of color. I would go lighter.

Yes prime helps you get the true color of your paint.

Every color I put in my yellow room went blue. Manchester tan looked blue! I decided it was the light and gave up and painted a light cream instead. Fast forward to a different room with a dark green, where I primed a large section, and each color looked truer. Agreeable is a lovely color, warmer than repose gray but not beige really. This is how it looks in my north facing room. Top left, repose below. Edgecomb gray bottom right.

I learned that my Anderson windows have a natural blue tint, making all my neutrals give a slightly green cast. Check your windows.
